How does the handwriting generator work?
Type your text and it renders in a realistic handwriting web font on HTML5 Canvas. Choose from 3 styles, 3 colors, and 3 sizes. Download as PNG.
Can I choose different handwriting styles?
Yes. Three styles: Casual (relaxed everyday), Formal (elegant script), and Messy (quick scrawl). Each uses a different web font optimized for that feel.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Rendered entirely in your browser using Canvas. Zero network requests.
What output formats are available?
PNG image at 2x resolution for sharp output. You can also right-click the canvas to copy directly.
Can I change the paper background?
The canvas renders on a warm paper-tone background with horizontal guide lines, simulating notebook paper.
Is there a text limit?
No hard limit. The canvas expands vertically for long text. Word wrap is automatic.
Does it look realistic?
It uses Google web fonts designed to mimic handwriting (Caveat, Dancing Script, Indie Flower). Slight position randomness adds natural variation. Not identical to real handwriting, but convincing for casual use.
Can I adjust the font size?
Yes. Small (20px), Medium (28px), and Large (36px) options.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Type text, choose settings, generate, and download on any device.
Can I use this for signatures?
