Refund Policy

We want you to be confident in your purchase. If Coda One isn't right for you, we offer a straightforward refund policy.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Business) come with a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial purchase. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked.

This guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase only. It does not apply to renewals or plan upgrades after the initial 7-day window.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for a full refund, all of the following must apply:

  • Your request is made within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date
  • You have used less than 20% of your plan's monthly word quota
  • This is your first refund request (one refund per account and per payment method)

If you have used more than 20% of your monthly quota, you may still request a refund, but it will be prorated based on your remaining unused quota.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and the reason for your request. We process refunds within 5–10 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method.

4. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard settings. When you cancel:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • No partial refund is issued for the remaining days in the current period
  • Your account reverts to the Free plan after the paid period ends

5. Annual Plans

Annual plans are eligible for the same 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. After the 7-day window, annual plans are non-refundable, but you may cancel to prevent renewal at the end of the annual term.

6. Free Plan & Free Tools

Free tools (PDF, Image, Developer utilities) and the free tier of AI writing tools (3 uses per day) do not involve any charges and are not subject to this refund policy.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorized, please contact us at [email protected] before filing a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to resolve billing issues directly and can process refunds faster than the chargeback process.

8. Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refund requests from accounts that show patterns of abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles
  • Using multiple accounts or payment methods to obtain multiple refunds
  • Bulk downloading or exporting generated content before requesting a refund

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will not affect refund requests already in progress. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
