Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Coda One ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit codaone.ai ("the Service"). We keep it simple because our cookie usage is minimal.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, like your login status and preferences.

2. Cookies We Use

We use a single, strictly necessary cookie:

Name Purpose Type Duration
codaone_session Keeps you logged in after authentication Essential (first-party) 30 days or until logout

This cookie is HttpOnly, Secure, and uses SameSite=Lax. It cannot be read by JavaScript and is only sent over HTTPS connections.

3. Cookies We Do NOT Use

  • Tracking cookies — we do not track you across websites
  • Advertising cookies — we do not serve ads or share data with ad networks
  • Third-party analytics cookies — we use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not collect personal data
  • Social media cookies — we do not embed social media trackers

4. Bot Protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on forms to prevent spam. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving CAPTCHA alternative that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

5. Third-Party Services

When you click outbound or affiliate links, the destination site may set its own cookies. These are governed by that site's cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

If you sign in with Google or Telegram, those providers may use their own cookies during the authentication flow. See their respective privacy policies for details.

6. Managing Cookies

Since we only use one essential cookie for authentication, disabling it will prevent you from staying logged in. You can manage cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

You can also delete the codaone_session cookie at any time by logging out of your account.

7. Do We Need a Cookie Banner?

Under GDPR, strictly necessary cookies (like our session cookie) do not require consent. Since we do not use any non-essential cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we start using additional cookies, we will update this page and notify registered users via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

9. Contact
