Coda One's Image Compressor processes images in your browser using the Canvas API, which means there's no upload time, no server queue, and no per-image cost. While the current interface handles one image at a time, the processing is instant — select an image, compress, download, then drop the next one. Most users can process 20-30 images in under 5 minutes. The quality slider and output format stay set between images, so you just keep dropping and downloading.

This approach has a major advantage for bulk work: the processing stays in the browser. When you're compressing 50 client photos or product images, uploading them all to a third-party service raises legitimate data handling concerns. With browser-based processing, images are not uploaded to our servers during compression. That reduces the need to hand files to another hosted image service. For agencies and freelancers handling client assets, that is often simpler than adding another external upload step.
