Frequently Asked Questions

What size should my business card PDF be?
Standard US/International business card: 3.5x2 inches (88.9x50.8mm). European: 85x55mm. Japanese: 91x55mm. The converter offers these as presets, or use fit-to-image to match your JPG dimensions.
Can I make a double-sided card PDF?
Yes. Upload front and back JPGs in order. The resulting PDF has 2 pages — page 1 front, page 2 back — ready for a print shop that handles double-sided printing.
Do I need bleed for printing?
For professional print shops, include 3mm bleed in your JPG dimensions (3.74x2.24 inches for a 3.5x2 card). The converter preserves your dimensions exactly, so design your JPG with bleed already included.
Can I convert business cards in bulk?
Yes. Drop multiple pairs of front/back JPGs and the tool generates a multi-page PDF. For one PDF per contact, run each pair through separately and save individually.
Will the QR code on my business card scan from the PDF?
Yes, as long as the source JPG is sharp enough that the QR code is clearly readable. The converter does not alter the image. If the QR code is pixelated in the JPG, it will be pixelated in the PDF too.
