Use Cases

Embedding PDF Content Elsewhere

Most CMS platforms (WordPress, Ghost, Squarespace, Notion) handle images better than PDFs. Convert each page to an image to embed, gallery, or caption individually.

Social Media & Slides

Instagram carousels, LinkedIn documents, and Twitter threads accept images. Convert each PDF page to an image so each becomes a slide or thread card.

Feed & App Uploads

Many job boards, dating apps, and review sites reject PDFs but accept JPGs. Convert the PDF resume or document to images before uploading.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why convert PDF to images at all?
Images are universally accepted — every app, chat tool, CMS, and social platform handles them. PDFs are restricted in many contexts (Instagram, LinkedIn feeds, job board uploads, chat apps). Converting to images removes that friction.
JPG vs PNG — which should I use?
JPG for photo-heavy pages (smaller files, slight compression). PNG for text-heavy pages, diagrams, or screenshots (larger but perfectly sharp). Most page content is mixed, so JPG at 95% quality is the usual default.
Does it preserve hyperlinks?
No. Hyperlinks are a PDF feature; JPG and PNG are flat images. If link behavior is essential (e.g., a table of contents), keep the PDF format or use our PDF Editor to maintain links.
Is the text still selectable?
No. Once rasterized to an image, text becomes pixels. To keep text selectable, either keep the PDF or convert to Word (PDF to Word tool) instead of an image.
How many pages can I convert at once?
Up to 500 pages per PDF. The converter processes page by page to avoid memory issues. 500 pages typically takes 2-5 minutes and produces a zip around 800 MB to 2 GB depending on content density.
