Your PDF is processed in the browser. Only the extracted text is sent to our server to enable AI chat. No files are stored — sessions expire after 1 hour.
What types of PDFs work best?
Text-based PDFs work best — reports, papers, contracts, manuals. Scanned or image-based PDFs may not have extractable text. Try our OCR tool first.
Can I chat about scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs that are image-only cannot be processed directly. Use our OCR tool to convert the images to text first, then upload the result.
How many questions can I ask?
Up to 10 messages per session. Start a new session (upload again) for more questions.
Does it remember previous questions?
Yes. Within a session, the AI remembers all previous questions and answers, so you can have a natural back-and-forth conversation.
What happens after the session expires?
Sessions last 1 hour. After expiry, upload the PDF again to start a new session. No data is retained.
Can I use it for long documents?
Yes, PDFs up to 20MB and 200 pages are supported. Very long documents may be truncated, but the AI still answers based on the available content.
How accurate are the answers?
The AI answers based only on document content. It includes page references when possible. For critical decisions, always verify against the original document.
